Garuda Aerospace maps 7,000 villages in U.P., to deploy 300 fastened wing drones

Drone producer and deployer Garuda Aerospace, having accomplished the mapping and digitisation of land data of over 7,000 villages of U.P. underneath the Centre’s Svamitva scheme, is now planning to scale up its operations by deploying extra highly effective fastened wing drones that may cowl extra areas per flight. 

The corporate is now planning to deploy 300 fastened wing drones in U.P. and elsewhere the place it’s prone to bag contract underneath the scheme.

“The mission of the Svamitva scheme is to digitise the land data and provides correct digital land certificates to all landowners in order that there isn’t a conspiracy concerned with misuse of the land and there could be no property disputes,” stated Agnishwar Jayaprakash, founder & CEO, Garuda Aerospace Personal Ltd.

“Now we’re planning to deploy fastened wing drones which may cowl extra space in a brief span. They’ll cowl 8-10 sq/km per day as in comparison with 2-4 sq. km per day in multi rotor drones that are deployed at present,” he stated.

With vertical take-off and touchdown characteristic, the fastened wing drones have endurance of as much as 75 minutes and may fly continuous whereas multi rotors can fly just for 40 to 45 minutes, he added.

He stated the mapping that’s being accomplished could be utilised for different functions similar to supply of e-commerce merchandise, meals by apps and even finding roads via GPS.
