Azerbaijan mentioned Tuesday that it had accomplished its navy targets on the border with Armenia after a lull following the worst combating between the arch-foes since their 2020 conflict.

“Provocations dedicated by Armenian forces on the border have been averted and all vital targets had been fulfilled,” President Ilham Aliyev’s workplace mentioned in an announcement following his assembly with the navy management.

“Duty for the tensions lie completely with the political management of Armenia,” the assertion added.

Azerbaijan’s defence ministry mentioned its forces had been responding to Armenian provocations and denied claims that they had been hitting civilian infrastructure.
