Telugu actor ‘Celebrity’ Krishna suffers cardiac arrest; in vital situation

Standard Telugu actor Ghattamaneni Krishna, popularly referred to as ‘Celebrity’ Krishna (79 years) has been admitted into Continental Hospital in Gachibowli within the early hours of Monday after a large cardiac arrest.

Dr. Guru N. Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Continental Hospitals instructed reporters that Mr. Krishna suffered cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state.

“On his arrival within the hospital, he was rushed to the Emergency division and CPR was given for 20 minutes. All of the cardiologists and different specialists rushed to deal with him. He was stabilised and shifted to the ICU,” in keeping with Dr. Reddy.

He mentioned Dr Meeraji Rao Dandangi, senior marketing consultant in Cardiology and Dr. Ramesh Kadadenahalli Nanjundappa, Crucial Care Specialists have been intently monitoring his situation.

“Until the following 24-48 hours, we cannot say something,” the docs mentioned including that his situation is ‘very very vital’ and each hour counts.

Docs mentioned they have been intently monitoring the actor’s well being situation and are protecting a watch if his physique cooperates with the therapy. “Allow us to all pray for his speedy restoration,” docs mentioned informing that the following well being bulletin could be issued tomorrow.

His first spouse Indira Devi, with whom he had 5 youngsters together with standard actor Mahesh Babu, died in September this 12 months whereas his different spouse and actor Vijaya Nirmala too handed away in June 2019.

The actor identified for number of roles had acted in over 350 films.

The actors shut members of the family and family members are on the hospital.
