Actor Storm Reid has bagged the lead position within the sequel of horror hit The Nun.

The sequel, at present titled The Nun 2, will likely be directed by Michael Chaves, who earlier helmed the 2021 horror film Conjuring: The Satan Made Me Do It, in response to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Nun was a prequel spinoff to 2016’s The Conjuring 2 and featured Bonnie Aarons as a demonic nun. Set in a monastery in 1952, the story noticed a priest and a younger nun, performed by Demian Bichir and Taissa Farmiga, respectively, trying to combat the nun’s evil possessions.

The sequel is alleged to be set within the Fifties and the Nun isn’t fairly vanquished as some believed. The small print of Reid’s character have been stored below wraps.
