The manufacturing of LHB coaches stood at 6,291 items in 2021-22, a forty five% year-on-year improve over manufacturing of 4,323 coaches in 2020-21.

Equally, for manufacturing of locomotives, the goal for present monetary 12 months is 1,190 locos, of which 371 locos have been produced until August. Within the earlier 12 months, the Railways factories had produced 969 locos as in opposition to 721 locos in 2020-21, up by about 34%.
