Girls’s Movie Fest off to an amazing begin

It could have been one of many wettest days this monsoon, however that did not matter for the movie buffs on Saturday. They turned up in massive numbers on the Kairali-Sree theatre complicated on the inaugural day of the third Girls’s Worldwide Movie Competition.

Although the day’s — and the pageant’s — greatest attraction, Clara Sola, the Spanish movie from Costa Rica that gained the Golden Crow Pheasant Award on the Worldwide Movie Competition of Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram, was the opening movie and its screening was scheduled for later within the night after the inaugural ceremony, film lovers had arrived early within the morning to observe different movies, equivalent to A Story of Love and Need (France).

The pageant was inaugurated by Minister for PWD and Tourism P.A. Mohamed Riyas. Chalachitra Academy Chairman Ranjith, Vice Chairman Premkumar, administrators Anjali Menon and Tara Ramanujan, Mini I.G., Aisha Sultana, actress Kukku Parameswaran, Girls’s Fee Chairperson P. Sathidevi, Mayor Beena Philip and District Collector N. Tej Lohit Reddy have been amongst those that spoke.

The pageant, being organised by the Chalachitra Academy, concludes on Monday.
